Bluescape is an almost infinite workspace for realtime collaboration available via web (across all of the usual platforms) and coupled with conference-room-wall-sized touch screens. It’s a platform which brings the luxury of a dedicated “war-room” to teams while also providing the necessity of a globally accessible space.

I worked with a longstanding Epsilon client to redesign a dated rewards redemption site. I engaged in on-site discovery and work sessions to consolidate the site map, improve the user flows, lay out a new architecture and improve the sites capabilities to be responsive, personalized, and accessible.

A design partner and I were approached by the Veterans Administration to redesign their app for the partners of PTSD sufferers.  Over a 3 week period we researched, designed, and user-tested an overhaul to the PTSD Family Coach mobile app and then presented the VA with our findings.

Together with Rosenfeld author and Interaction designer Chris Noessel, I co-created a workshop to allow designers the chance to reimagine the interfaces in the classic film Star Wars.  The workshop helps designers to derive real-world design lessons from fictional interfaces in a fun and entertaining way.  The workshop was first presented last year in Stockholm and will continue it's tour of Sweden by partnering with Unsworn Industries in Malmö at the beginning of March this year.

While studying Urban Design at Berkeley, I undertook a semester-long enthnographic study of Oakland's Fruitvale district.  Through use of data synthesis, contextual inquiry, extensive mapping, and stakeholder interviews, I was able to gain useful insights for urban designers and local government who manage the district.
